Krystal’s journey into photography began early fresh out of high school, she started as a newborn photographer at Memorial Katy. But her real passion kicked in after a friend asked her to photograph a wedding, and everything clicked. From shooting baseball games to capturing lifelong memories, her artistic evolution was rooted in connection, emotion, and creativity.

At K-Ruiz Photography, the core mission is simple: tell love stories in a way that’s real, inclusive, and uniquely yours. Krystal works with all kinds of couples, with a special love for the quirky, nerdy, and creative ones who want to focus on joy over perfection.

She’s not a one-woman show, either Krystal’s got two rockstar second shooters, Sarah in Houston and Caitlin in Austin/San Antonio, who bring their own talent and style to the table.
